About Haruven
Haruven is a learning product in development for parents of students in grades 5–8. The first subject is math. The product described here is pre-launch — it is not yet available, and this site exists to explain what we are building.
Our mission
Help every child learn to think independently in a world where AI can give them the answer.
The problem we work on
A completed homework page no longer proves independent understanding. A child can get a correct, well-explained answer from AI in seconds without doing the thinking. Parents are left with finished work and no reliable signal about what their child can actually do alone.
The planned method
- 1
Guided help
The child is walked toward the reasoning step by step instead of handed a finished answer.
- 2
Independent transfer
After the guided work, the child solves a related problem on their own, so the understanding has to be theirs.
- 3
Later retention check
A delayed check is planned, so understanding is re-tested after time has passed rather than assumed.
- 4
Parent-visible evidence
Parents see what their child can do independently, not just that the homework was finished.
Who it is for
Parents in the United States with children in grades 5–8 who want AI to support their child's thinking rather than replace it. Accounts are parent-owned, and this site is parent-facing: we do not ask for or collect a child's name, email, birthday, school, or other direct identifiers. A parent may provide the child's grade level when signing up.
